I discovered the pilates method after the difficult c section deliveries of my children. I had always exercised, but found pilates to be the best method to re-activate my very weakened abdominal muscles and improve my posture.

My previous profession was as a textile artist & tutor. Having an eye for detail & precision helps me when observing clients movements & posture. Teaching is what I do & love best, so it seemed a natural progression to train with Body Control Pilates to become an instructor. My teaching style welcomes ordinary people [by that I mean non-dancers] & is designed to break down the more difficult exercises to make them more accessible for everyone.
